Airbus Plans to Put Beds in the Cargo Hold

April 16th, 2018

Maybe all of the regulations on luggage size, or adding additional charges for more luggage was all for a reason. According to the Airbus Twitter account, they are planning on adding beds for passengers in the cargo hold of its jets.

At first, you may think of a dark and gloomy area, but mock ups look quite pleasant. With plush beds and a lot of white and lights, passengers can now enjoy more space and beds to sleep in while they travel from location to location.

While there are no windows in the cargo hold, this could also make for better sleeping, but also drive those claustrophobic people crazy.

It looks like the first jet to have beds in cargo holds will be released in 2020, so we can all wait anxiously until then.
